Welcome to the website of the famous "Tuesday Night Golf Society".

​

The TNGS was formed in 2008 by a bunch of like minded bar flies (Shaun, Adam, Glen and Ricky) to allow people local to Shillington, (in Bedfordshire) to play golf on a regular basis despite the fact that they did not have a golf club membership, handicap and in most cases a swing.

​

The society meets every Tuesday night in the summer weeks at Mount Pleasant Golf Club in Stondon for a 9 hole competition. The results of these competitions are recordrd to adjust  handicaps (ruthlessly) and also form a league table. At the end of season the winner is awarded the much prized TNGS Trophy. As well as the league there is also a KO Cup competition and various matches against other inferior societies.

As well as Tuesday nights, the society has a number of away days at various golf courses and an end of season away weekend at some unsuspecting golf club with  accommodation facilities and most importantly a bar.
